Guru Poornima

Guru is Brahma, guru is Vishnu, Guru is Maheshwora. He is the supreme consciousness, salutation to the guru.
Guru Poornima is a festival observed by Hindu, Buddhist and Jain Community to pay respect and gratitude to the spiritual and academic teachers. This festival falls on the full moon of Ashad month.

In this day, the students make offerings to their respective Gurus and take blessings from them. The word guru means a scholar who offers life relevant education to his/her students.
